Brazil has a large sporting calendar, and each seeks to draw from the large number of fans that turn up to support their teams or individuals that have caught their attention. In rallying its no different and teams that take part in the various events that are part of each year’s sports calendar hope to keep giving their fans a reason to continue supporting them. The various competitions that take place all over the country are meant to test the skills of individual drivers as well as those of there navigators. The most anticipated event, however, is the Sertoes rally. This has become a must-attend event, and the participants at various levels and categories can attest to the increased pressure from more passionate fans to perform. The Bull Sertoes Rally Team is one of this teams that faithfully takes part in almost all Sertoes rallies since the team’s inception. Michel Terpins and Rodrigo Terpins were brought together by a love for speed and excellence. The two had developed a passion for sports as a whole from their father who played basketball in the late seventies and early eighties. His sons had come to deeply appreciate what sports could do for a person as well as the community. For fans, it gave them an opportunity to have fun, bond with like-minded people as well as develop a sense of appreciation for the hard work it takes to achieve certain levels of success.
Michel Terpins has participated in numerous races but has stated that the Sertoes rally despite it being the most challenging it’s his best. He moved from cross country a sport that he joined in 2012 and quickly rose to become champion. This was despite the level of competition in a country of 200 million people. The level of success he achieved meant that the work was clearly cut out for him once he became a rally driver. He would prove that to him speed was a way of life. His performance in the first race that he took part in would turn doubters into believers that are today among his biggest fans.
