During the 2016-17 NBA season, the Indiana Pacers continued to look like a stable team, which was capable of winning any game that they played. Ultimately, the team finished 7th in the Eastern Conference, but lost in the first round of the playoffs to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Not that the season is over, many people are guessing how the Pacers will move forward and continue to build their team (https://8points9seconds.com/2017/05/25/indiana-pacers-mock-draft-roundup/).
The Pacers will be picking 16th overall in the draft and should have some very talented players to choose from. One of the players that they are rumored to be purchasing is Donovan Mitchell, who played for Louisville last year. Mitchell should be a good addition to the team due to his ability to get to the basket and score.
Another potential addition to the team is Jarret Allen. Allen is a center from the University of Texas.
While the NBA Draft will be a big day for the Pacers, the team also has to figure out what to do with star player Paul George. George, who has been with the team his whole career, has made several all-star teams and has the proven ability to score and lead a team to the playoffs. Unfortunately, his contract is coming up to expiration and it remains to be seen whether he will be resigned. Another option they have is to trade George for a high draft pick, which will help the Pacers to rebuild.
