Mavericks Struggling

The Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association have been a team that has experienced tremendous amounts of success over the last several years. The talent has been projected by superstar Dirk Nowitzki, who was drafted nearly twenty years ago out of Germany. It is pretty unprecedented to possess such a star in the NBA for nearly two decades, but the Dallas Mavericks have enjoyed success since Dirk joined the roster in the late nineties and solidified his success with an NBA title several years ago. The Mavericks have been an insanely talented team in the Western Conference and they got even better earlier this season when they made a massive trade with the Boston Celtics that sent Rajon Rondo to the Mavericks. Since then they have been on an insane winning streak, but it has come to an end as of recent. They got beat up in their last game and on Sunday they dropped a game to the dismal New Orleans Pelicans who are perhaps one of the worst teams in the NBA. This season has produced a ton of ups and downs for the Dallas organization and an emotional roller-coaster for fans like Haidar Barbouti, but they are still firmly in the mix of the playoff run. Owner Mark Cuban is clearly not happy about what has been transpiring in the city of Dallas and the organization looks to be making some changes to ensure their success in the second half of the season.
