Kim Dao starts her day off with Starbucks. She has arrived in Denmark. She arrived early. She is waiting at Starbucks for her friend, Bambi. She does Youtube videos, similar to the type of videos Kim Dao does. Her and Kim Dao will be traveling together for the next few days. Kim Dao will edit some of her videos while she is waiting for her friend. They both taste danish meatballs. They enjoy them.
They are heading to the Tivoli theme park. They explore the sites and take some pictures. The weather is nice. They grab some food although Kim Dao isn’t very hungry. They look at all the rides at the theme park. They didn’t get on any because they were tired and there were long lines. They watch the marching band also. They walked around for 3 hours and is now headed to Pedestrian Street to look around and shop. They do some window shopping instead. Kim Dao breaks her shoe and needs to find more shoes. They take a break and have a snack. They look around some more. They have a car tour of the area. They decide to site see for a minute. They have Indian food for dinner.
After dinner, Kim Dao spent some time talking with her family. She had a lot of fun. She tried to do everything but she was jet lagged and extremely tired. Dr. Clay Siegall is the president and CEO of Seattle Genetics. Seattle Genetics is a biotechnology company that develops targeted therapy drugs. The company focuses on diseases where there has not been an improvement in the mortality rate with current drugs. Dr. Siegall was interviewed on Inspirery where he talked about the origins of Seattle Genetics and its business model. He said that he started the company after seeing the harsh treatment techniques that were being used in the treatment of cancer. He was asked how long it took for the company to become profitable. Clay Siegall answered that it was a decade after they went public.
Siegall said that company executives usually have to go through a lengthy process in order to land new clients. This involves many meetings and negotiations that can stretch for months. Siegall added that the company’s legal team was very competent. They had proved themselves over the years. Siegall said that hard work was the primary reason for his success. He quoted a letter from Darwin to Francis Galton where Darwin says that men differed only in work habits and not intellect. Siegall went on to state that passion and focus were the two key elements needed for success. Other things including intelligence and connections are secondary to these.
Siegall has worked with Seattle Genetics since 1998 when it was started. He played a huge role when the company was raising capital from private and public investors. They were able to develop the first antibody drug conjugate to be approved by the FDA with him as the leader. Siegall has also secured partnerships with other pharmaceutical companies such as GlaxoSmithKline. Clay Siegall was appointed to the board of directors of Mirna Therapeutics in 2013. Mirna is a biotech company that is involved in the research and development of micro-RNA therapies. Siegall was brought to the company as an outside director of the board. Siegall spoke at the time of the announcement and said that he was honored to become a part of Mirna. He stated that he was pleased with the company’s vision.

Letting a plethora of fantasy football owners down, Martavis failed a drug test for the second time and was suspended for the entire season of 2016.
Recap of Season 2014-2015
In the 4th round, Martavis was drafted and inactive for the initial six games. The stagnancy was due to an A/C sprain and poor performance. Then, scoring a touchdown from an impressive 35 yards, he blew into the fantasy football rankings scene.
In 2014, he started only 3 games, but was an important role in every one of the final ten games. From those 11 games, Martavis obtained 548 yards and 32 receptions.
Pre-season of 2015, Martavis failed a drug test and was suspended for the initial four games. Then, he suffered from a knee sprain during training. In week six, Martavis returned to the Steelers with Mike Vick. There, he exploded in the very first game of the football season. Stats: 6 receptions on 8 targets for 137 yards and 2 TDs.
2017 Path for Fantasy Football Rankings Owners
First and most importantly, Martavis Bryant must play! There are 54 games possible, with Martavis being suspended for 23 and playing only 24. If Martavis can remain on the field for 16 games, he can possibly make it to WR1 territory.
Martavis could get to 120-130 targets for 2017 which would leave him on the low end finishers of WR1.
Rookie = 56%. 2015 = 59%. Removing games without Ben/Brown, brings him back to 56%. No passes caught since 2016-2016 season.
2015=70 reception. Last year, wide receivers ending with WR8-WR17 had more than 80 receptions. Martavis would need 23-25% increase in target share to reach the 80-90% range.
Yardage for WR1 is around 1,100 yards. Martavis has averaged a little over 15 yards per reception. Using that, 70 receptions lands him barely over 1,000 yards.
Martavis has helped many fantasy football ranking owners win games. He scored 14 touchdowns in 24 games. That converts over 14 percent of his career catches for touchdowns. 8-10 touchdowns is definitely within his range of possible outcomes.
Martavis- WR21 in standard, WR29 in half pt PPR, and down at WR34 in full PPR. Low ranking reasons include fear of being suspended again. However, his stats and expectations seem to likely end him on the low end of WR1. Needing minimal improvements in catch rate and target share, Martavis could easily finish as a WR1.

Sarah Cummins was going to get married in an Indianapolis suburb called Carmel. However, the wedding was called off at the last minute. Sarah could either dispose of all the food or use it to help people who were less fortunate. It was at that point that she decided to invite homeless people from the area to attend a party so the food would not go to waste. Suits were donated by a few businesses in the area so the homeless people could get dressed up for the festivities.
Sarah is 25 years old and currently attending college to become a pharmacist. She was joined at the homeless benefit by some of her bridesmaids and her mother. She admitted that the majority of the cost for the food was paid for my the man she was going to marry. She felt that allowing homeless people to eat the food would be much better than having all of it go to waste. The total cost of the wedding was $30,000. Sarah would not say why the wedding was called off so abruptly. She only said that it was a very difficult decision.
Every person had a great time at the homeless benefit. Sarah said that she was trying to make the best out of a bad situation. She did admit that it was a bit odd to have a bunch of complete strangers eating her wedding cake. However, she has always felt that it was in her nature to help people who were less fortunate than her. Sarah has not decided what she will do with the wedding dress. She does not want to think about that right now.
Once again, it’s that time of the year where the state of Indiana honors workers who are dedicated to helping young people. The youth is considered an essential group in a country’s population. There are many people who strive to improve the lives of young people living in Indiana. One of these people will receive the 2017 Youth Worker of the Year Award.
This year’s award will be dedicated to honoring those who work to help the youth of Hoosier. It’s also aimed at encouraging people to work with kids in the state of Indiana. One of the recipients of this award, Laura Ingram, revealed that there is little funding to hold the award event. However, she commended Indiana’s local government for supporting such events. Ms. Ingram is Pride Prism Youth Community’s program director. She’s a foster parent as well as a therapist. Laura received the Youth Worker of the Year award in 2015. She used the award money to support various LGBTQ initiatives.
According to Ingram, Indiana still has a long way to go, with regard to working with LGBTQ youth. She asserted that the government needs to create safe environments for the LGBTQ community. Laura urged Indiana’s leadership to focus on helping young people living in rural counties. Also, she gave some advice to those who want to work with kids as well as young adults.
